With a dedicated 3,000 sqm manufacturing area exclusively for tantalum and niobium processing, Cometec is one of the world’s largest manufacturers in this field. As both tantalum and niobium are challenging materials to work with, our team consists of highly specialized and qualified experts. We employ some of the most experienced welders in the industry – some with up to 30 years of experience in working with tantalum and niobium. This expertise ensures that Cometec consistently meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Since our founding in 1988, our mission has been to optimize the most corrosive processes worldwide by utilizing tantalum. Our new 300 sqm production hall allows us to optimize our manufacturing processes and to build large tantalum equipment.

Manufacturing Capabilities for Large Equipment

  • Crane hook height: 6.8 m

  • Cranes: 2 x 2 cranes, each with a 10 t capacity – allowing the effortless movement of equipment up to 20 t

  • Workshop dimensions:
    2 x 20 m in width, 70 m in length
  • Gate dimensions:
    4.2 m in height, 4.4 m in width
