Tantalum U-Tube Heat Exchangers

The main difference between U-Tube Heat Exchangers and Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers is that with U-Tube Heat Exchangers, the medium usually flows on the shell side of the bundle instead of within the tubes.

Our U-tube bundle heat exchangers usually feature a shell made of glass-enameled steel. On one side, they are equipped with a cover with a spacer and a tantalum-clad tube sheet. Tantalum-2.5% tungsten offers high mechanical resistance, simplifying maintenance and extending the lifespan of your equipment.
